Kirk Evans Russell

Kirk Evans Russell - 61, of North Alton, Kings County, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015 in the VG Site of the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Kentville, he was a son of Bernice (Frank) Comish, North Alton and Cecil (Shirley) Russell, Kentville. He had been employed with Maple Leaf Poultry, IGA and was most recently working with Roscoe's at Michelin in Waterville. He was a member of the Down East Chevy Car Club and enjoyed attending Exhibitions. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially crib. He is survived by a son, Steven (Melanie) Belliveau, Kentville; a sister, Nancy Russell, New Minas; three brothers, Frank (Judy), New Minas; John, Port Williams and Brian (Roberta), Blue Mountain; three step sisters, Linda (David) Schnare, Centreville; Melanie (Ronald) Roy, Dartmouth and Brenda Jette, Florida; three step brothers, Stephen (Toni), Shaun (Sharon) and Kevin Comish, all of Dartmouth; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2015 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by a reception will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2015. Family flowers only by request. Donations in memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
