Curtis Chesley Greencorn

Curtis Chesley Greencorn - 84, of Kentville, passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Upper Canard, Kings County, he was a son of the late Chester and Eliza (Carrington) Greencorn. He had been employed for a number of years as a farm labourer, from where he retired. He is survived by his wife, the former Marion Slauenwhite; three daughters, Brenda Greencorn, Canning; Debra Greencorn (common law partner, Darrell MacLeod), Kentville; Marilyn Wilson, Kentville; a sister, Gertrude Carter, Canso; two brothers, Alton, Medford; Cecil, Canning; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four sisters, Kathleen, Cora, Isabelle and Florence. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2015 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, Kings County, Reverend Elizabeth Johnson officiating. Donations in memory may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
