Doris Rita Rogers

Doris Rita Claudette (Brousseau) Rogers - 68, of Habitant, Kings County, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015 in the Valley Regional Hospital Kentville. Born in Cookshire, Quebec, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Camilia (Meunier) Brousseau. She had been employed with Oxford Frozen Foods, ACA Cooperative and Eden Valley Farms, from where she retired. She is survived by her husband, Howard Rogers; a daughter, Wanda (Rodney) Benjamin, Canning; a son, James (Beverly) Rogers, Truro; a sister, Patricia Mercier, Sherbrooke, Quebec; a brother, Denis (Susan) Brousseau, Kincardine, Ontario; three grandchildren, Amber, Cassidy and Ariana. She was predeceased by two sisters, Suzanne Gaudet and Helene Hobbs. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2015 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2015, Father John MacPherson officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Habitant Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
