Murray Alvin Walsh

Murray Alvin Walsh - 73, of Kentville, passed away Monday, August 24, 2015 at home. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Perry and Barbara (Benjamin) Blenkhorn. He was employed as a machine operator for Hostess Foods and Dominion Paper Board Products until health issues forced his retirement. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and spent most of his life in the Valley. He is survived by his wife, Fay (Randall); one daughter, Christene; two sons, Allen and Donald; two grandchildren, Taylor Acker, Dartmouth and Sydney Acker, Kentville. He was predeceased by a foster brother, Ross; a sister, Hazel. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service, by request. A family graveside service will take place at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
