Frances Margaret Lowe

Frances Margaret Lowe - 87, of Wolfville, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in New Ross, she was a daughter of the late James and Lilla (Hiltz) Collins. She worked as a waitress with Babcock's Restaurant, Wolfville for many years. She was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Wolfville and she enjoyed knitting, playing cards and Bingo. She is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Medford "Mickey") Coldwell and Sandra (Douglas) Coldwell, both of Wolfville Ridge; a son, James (Janet), Canaan; a sister, Helen Duncanson, Windsor; a brother, John (Betty) Collins, New Ross; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Lowe; a sister, Anne Boylan; three brothers, Lawrence, Floyd and Paul. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 25, 2015 in St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Wolfville, Father Craig Cameron officiating. Burial will take place in the Willow Bank Cemetery, Wolfville. Following the burial, a reception will be held in the St. Francis of Assisi Parish Hall. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the Annapolis Valley Victorian Order of Nurses Homecare Team and the doctors, nurses and staff at the Valley Regional Hospital for their care and kindness. Donations in memory may be made to the Annapolis Valley Victorian Order of Nurses, the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
