Reinder Hogeboom

December 29, 1920 -  October 31, 2015

Reinder was taken home to be with his Lord on October 31, 2015. He was born in the Netherlands and immigrated to Canada in 1952 after serving his country as part of the Dutch Resistance during the Second World War and the Dutch Army in Indonesia. He is survived by his wife, Johanna; daughter, Jacqueline (Job); son, William (Miek), nine grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, his two brothers and his grandson, Robert. There will be a graveside burial service at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2015, at Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, followed by a time of fellowship and celebration of his life at New Covenant Community Church, Cambridge. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
