Adele Mary Poole

Adele Mary (Harmes) (Adams) Poole - 93, of Kentville, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Weymouth, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Jessica (Saulnier) Harmes. She was a homemaker, a great cook and enjoyed doing housework. She is survived by three daughters, Pauline Clarke, Linda (Fred) Young and Mary Ann Rhynold, all of Kentville; four sons, Joseph (Jane) Adams and Franklyn (Georgina) Adams, both of Ontario; Brian (Heather) Adams and Bruce (Mercy) Adams, Kentville; 14 grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  She was predeceased by her first husband, George Adams; her second husband, Bev Poole; a daughter, Kathleen Adams; a son, James Adams; a grandson, Scott Clarke; a sister, Pauline; brothers, Clifford and Harry. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2015 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2015, Reverend Thelma McLeod officiating. Burial will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Donations in memory may be made to the IWK Health Centre Foundation or the Kings County S.P.C.A.
