Peter Harris vanFeggelen - 51, of Kentville, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015 in Colchester Community Hospital, Truro. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Carol vanFeggelen (retired professor) and Rilda Catherine (Harris) vanFeggelen,  Head of St. Margaret's Bay. Peter loved his family and they were his primary focus. He enjoyed the Arts, especially music and reading. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Freda (Larade); children, Anneka and Luc, both at home; brother, Bruce Carol (Kathleen) and their daughter, Lillian vanFeggelen, St. Margaret's Bay; brother-in-law, Gary P. LeBlanc, Vancouver; aunts, Eleanor Harris, Grimsby, ON; Gerda vanFeggelen, Surrey, BC and Ada (Charlie) Gyenes; Wildomar, California; mother and father-in-law, Diane Larade and Paul Poirier; brother-in-law, Robert Sine (Tracy); nephews, Alex, Sam, Nick and Christian; aunts and uncles, Yvette and Paul Chiasson, Napoleon and Judy Larade, Roger Larade, Ronnie and Evey Larade, Madelaine and Joey Aucoin, Jules (Penny) Larade, Marie-Louise Camus, Adele and Arthur Muise, Annette Cesford. He was predeceased by sisters, Kim Rilda vanFeggelen LeBlanc and Margot vanFeggelen; uncles, Stuart Harris and Martin vanFeggelen; aunt, Isabelle MacKay Harris. Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, November 18, 2015 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, with a sharing of memories beginning at 6:00 p.m. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
