Betty Louise Garnier
1941-2016
Betty Louise Garnier - 74, of Cambridge, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Arnold and Jean (Rafuse) Salsman. She had been employed with the Nova Scotia Sanatorium, Camp Aldershot and retired as a supervisor with Canard Poultry. She was a member of Bethany Memorial Baptist Church, Aldershot. She is survived by two nephews, Terry (Sue) Salsman, Summerville; Christopher (Wanda) Salsman, Grand Pré; two great nieces, Kayla and Bayleigh; two great nephews, Matthew and Christopher Jr.; a great great nephew, Tyler; a sister-in-law, Gloria (Billy) Saulnier, Meteghan; long-time best friend, Sheila Lemoine, Kentville. She will also be sadly missed by her faithful companion, her dog, Misty. She was predeceased by a brother, Arnold "Otis". Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2016 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2016, Reverend Thelma McLeod officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Donations in memory may be made to the Kings County S.P.C.A., Bethany Memorial Baptist Church or the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
