Eugene Herman "Bob" Norman

Eugene Herman "Bob" Norman – 90, of Grand View Manor, formerly of New Minas, passed away April 29, 2016 at Grand View Manor, Berwick.  Born in Berwick, he was a son of the late Herman and Myrtle (Peterson) Norman. He had been employed with the Department of Agriculture as a supervisor at A.C.A. Poultry Ltd., New Minas, until retirement. He was a former member of the New Minas Lions Club and the Kings County Trappers Association. He is survived by his son, Stephen (Sherri), Kentville; grandchildren, Jamie and Shelley; step-granddaughters, Brianna and Serena; five great grandchildren, Kyle, Wilhem, Aiyana, Kaiden and Leanna; Sister-in-law, Annie Norman, Saint John, New Brunswick; nephews Floyd (Linda), Robert (Patsy), Douglas (Debbie) and Thomas, all of Saint John, New Brunswick. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Jean Atwater; brother, Donald. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2016 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016, Reverend David Ogilvie officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Lakeville Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to the Alzheimer Association of Nova Scotia.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
