Jean Marie Chesnutt

Jean Marie Chesnutt of Coldbrook, Kings County, passed away peacefully Monday, May 2, 2016 at home. Born in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Annie (Dodge) O’Neil. She was a member of Cambridge Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher. She had been employed at M.W. Graves Food Processing in Kentville as a Lab Technician. She then moved onto work at the Michelin plant in Waterville from where she retired. Jean loved crafts and cooking. She also loved flowers and gardening. She spent a lot of time at the cottage in Blandford, where she could be found beach combing, boating and fishing. Her favourite past time was spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. Jean is survived by her three daughters, Brenda McLean (Jeff Marshall); Susan (David) Huestis; and Barb Fowlie; sister, Christine Coleman; grandchildren, Aaron (Jenna) McLean, Logan McLean, Jason Huestis, Andrew Huestis and Ian Fowlie. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. A private family graveside service will be held at Burlington Cemetery with Rev. Darryl Dykens officiating. Donations in Jean’s name may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
