Nancy M. Webster Pineo

Nancy Marie Webster Pineo – 68, of Lakeville, Kings County, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Lloy and Edie (Sheehy) Webster. She graduated from the Victoria General Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1968 and obtained her Masters Degree in Nursing from Mount St. Vincent University. She nursed at the Victoria General Hospital, the former Blanchard Fraser Memorial Hospital, the Valley Regional Hospital and most recently with Nova Scotia Continuing Care, from where she retired. Nancy enjoyed an early retirement and dedicated her time to her Morgan horses and their competition in various events. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Boyd Pineo; a daughter, Amy Pineo (Phillip Redden), Centreville; a sister, Diane (Ed) Kennedy, Ottawa; a brother, Tim Webster (Angela Templin), Middleton; nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A celebration of Nancy’s life and a reception will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. with a short service at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2016 in the Woodville Community Centre, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to The Lodge That Gives (Canadian Cancer Society), 5826 South Street, Suite 1, Halifax, NS B3H 1S6. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
