Alexander S. "Ackie" Clerk

Alexander Simson "Ackie" Clerk – 86, of New Minas, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Wolfville, he was a son of the late Charles and Angela (Herbin) Clerk. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Shirley (Cook) Clerk; two sons, Charles (Friedel) Clerk, Truro; Thomas (Kim) Clerk, British Columbia; three daughters, Katherine (Peter) Cooper, North Alton; Susan Clerk (Tony), Antrim; Faye (Doug) Hounsell, Elmsdale; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Stevens. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. There will be a private family service. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
