Frank passed away quietly on May 22, 2016. He leaves behind his wife, Colleen Sylvia (George); his brothers, Rod C., Jamie and Joe; his sister, Marie (O’Brien); his sons, Stephen Francis, Daniel "Danny" Robert and Gregory Brice and his grandson, David Michael. He was predeceased by his sisters, Annie (O’Toole), Monica, Theresa and Louise (Gillis) and his daughter, Debra Ann Mary. The son of the late John Dan and Annie Catherine MacNeil, Frank was born in Barra Glen, Cape Breton. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1948 at Chatham, NB and worked in the ME Section. In Chatham, he met and married Colleen (George) of Canning, NS. His career took him to Manitoba, Quebec, France, Alberta, Manitoba (again), Nova Scotia and finally back to New Brunswick. He retired from the Air Force in 1976 to his apple farm in Lawrencetown, NS. He retired from farming in 1994 and settled in Coldbrook, NS. Frank will be remembered together with his daughter, Debbie, who passed away on March 7, 2016. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Kentville. Reception will follow. A private interment will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to the VON. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
