Ethel Caroline Bailey

Ethel Caroline Bailey – 73, of Middleton, formerly of Kentville, passed away peacefully at her home, The Heart of the Valley Nursing Home on May 30, 2016. Born in Kentville, she was the daughter of the late Morton Bailey and Isabell (Jones) (Bailey) Bagley. Ethel was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She will be remembered for her gentle voice, kind smile and the love she had for other people. Ethel is survived by her brothers, Alex (Margie) Bailey and Francis "Fran" (Sheila) Bailey; niece, Vedna McGill (who was like a sister to Ethel); sisters-in-law, Meda and Audrey Bailey. Ethel has many nieces and nephews that loved her and will miss her. She was predeceased by brothers, Arthur and James Bailey; sister, Jo Ann Ferris. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2016 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Greenwood, Jason Wade officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Blue Mountain Cemetery.  Donations in memory may be made to the I.W.K. Children’s Hospital. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
