Judith "Gail" Carey

Judith "Gail" Carey – 72, of Melvern Square, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on May 31, 2016 surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home. Born in Peterborough, ON, she was the daughter of the late Alymer and Winona (Clark) Jarvis. She loved children and was a nanny to a number of children until she retired in 2009. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Wayne Carey, Melvern Square; son, Daniel, Middleton; daughters, Susanne (Phillip) Ross, Nictaux; Jill (Chris) Neufeld, Greenwood; grandchildren, Jacqueline, Kaylea, Aimee, David, James, Anthony and Malachi; great-grandchildren, Kadyn, Brooklyn, Jude and Lennon. She is also survived by sisters, Donna (Daryl) Perkins, West Jordan, Utah, Joyce Fournier, Kitchener, ON; brother, Brian (Karen) Jarvis, Peterborough, ON. She was predeceased by an infant son, David; brothers, Jack and Gene (Doreen). A memorial service followed by a reception will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Fellowship Baptist Church, Melvern Square, Reverend Bruce Kaiser officiating. Burial will take place in the Church Grove Cemetery, Melvern Square at a later date. Donations in Gail’s memory may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church or a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
