Mark Raymond Mitchell

Mark Raymond Mitchell – 51, of Cambridge, Kings County, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville, he was a son of Glennie (Aalders) Mitchell, North Alton and the late Paul Mitchell. He had been employed for 32 years with Weavexx, Kentville. He enjoyed a simple quiet life with his passions being fishing and motorcycles. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Steven (Carol), North Alton; two sisters, Cindy (Harry) Spencer, Kentville; Heather (John) Swetnam, Sheffield Mills; nieces and nephews, Tessa, Cory, Michael and Melissa. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a nephew, Rick Spencer. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A family graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016 in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital – Carey Me Fund, the Canadian Red Cross or the Annapolis Valley Victorian Order of Nurses. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
