David Howard Faloon

It is with great sadness that the family of David Howard Faloon, 68, of Kentville, announces his passing on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Valley Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, he was the son of Harold and Marie Faloon.  He is survived by his wife, Jane Lessel; his children, Kim, Rob and Deborah; his seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; his brother, R. Gary Faloon. He graduated from St. Mary’s University. Over the years, Dave enjoyed travelling, sailing and curling. Following his retirement from the FBDB, Dave and Jane enjoyed their time at their cottage near Digby, especially exploring with the grandchildren.  Dave always took great pleasure in their many bird feeders at both the cottage and their home in Kentville.  He always enjoyed a walk at Miner’s Marsh.  He was a Valley enthusiast and an avid supporter of local produce, meats and cheese. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A memorial service, followed by a reception, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2016 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. Burial will take place at a later date in the Riverside Cemetery, Bridgetown. Donations in memory of Dave may be made to The Lodge that Gives, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada, Atlantic Branch or the Valley Regional Hospital Carey-Me Fund. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
