Laura Maude Pudsey

Laura Maude Pudsey – 87, of New Minas, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at home. Born in Urbania, Hants County, she was a daughter of the late Creighton and Maude (Vaughan) Rose. She had been employed with Zellers, Hostess Foods and A.C.A. Poultry, from where she retired. Laura enjoyed knitting and sewing. She is survived by a daughter, Dianne (Richard) Hancock, New Minas; a son, Clarence "Junior" (Bernadette), Brooklyn Street, Kentville; three grandchildren, Steven (Darlene) Hancock, Jason (Nicole) Pudsey and Amanda Pudsey; six great grandchildren, Emily, Abigail and Nicholas, Dustin, Nariah, and Hayleigh; a great great grandson, Jacob. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence; two sisters, Ella and Edith; a half sister, Ruby Wood; three brothers, Edgar, George and Earl. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2016 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Burial will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
