Etta "Pauline" Misner
1925-2016
Etta "Pauline" Misner - 91, formerly of Chipman Brook, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016 in the Wolfville Nursing Home. Born in Harbourville, NS, she was the only child of the late Gaspard and Grace (Best) Woodworth. Before retiring, she was a dedicated and caring teacher who worked in various schools in the area. She always enjoyed having her family around her, especially the "little ones". Many will remember how her face would light up in a smile. She was a member of the Black Rock Sewing Circle and the Retired Teachers Association. She is survived by a son in law, Frank Harland, Wolfville: a son, Steven (Glenice) Misner, Chipman Brook and a daughter, Suzanne (Brian) Bligh, Lakeville: seven grandchildren, Paula, Corinne, Jonathan, Angela, Emma Lee, Lindsay and Zachary; eight great grandchildren; Nathan, Grace, Aiden, Loren, Lucy, Ellie, Olive and Jayden. She was predeceased by her husband, Claude Misner and a daughter, Brenda Harland. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Doctor Judith Saunders officiating. A private family burial will take place in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, Kings County. Family flowers only by request.
