Lesley Ann Holmes

Lesley Ann Holmes – 70, of New Minas, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at home. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Vadim Michael and Mary Elizabeth "Betty" (Cox) Knight. She had been employed as a secretary for a number of years. Her crafts were her life and she was a member of the Loft Hookers Guild for many years. Lesley was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who lived for her family. She is survived by her husband and best friend, Robert "Bob"; two daughters, Michelle and Melanie; two sons, Michael and Mark; a sister, Karen Vickers; a brother, Dr. Michael Knight; seven grandchildren, Evan, Matthew, Pierson, Lauryn, Tanner, Liam and Emma. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. Burial will take place in St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Church Street, Port Williams. Donations in memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
