Harold Franklin Justus

Harold Franklin Justus - 77, of Kentville, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at home. Born in Spalding, Saskatchewan, he was a son of the late Edward and Cecilianna (Hampton) Justus. He was a family man who loved telling stories. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces (RCAF) for 32 years. He enjoyed bowling and spending time with his grandchildren. Harold will be forever remembered by his great grandchildren for his talent to blow huge bubbles. He is survived by three daughters, Joan (Sven) Leppik, Winnipeg; Laura Patenaude (Marvin Stone), Halifax; Janice (Kevin) Roach, Brandon, Manitoba; a son, Gary (Cynthia Urquhart), Ottawa; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Lavine "Janet" (Davison). Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
