Howard Louis Redden

Howard Louis Redden – 84, of Kentville, Kings County, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016 in Shannex – Orchard Court, Kentville. Born in Kentville, he was a son of the late Avora Redden. He had been employed as a carpet layer with Sawler’s and Cleveland’s and also worked independently. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by nieces and nephews, Katherine, Vicki, Lenore, Tim, Susan; Andy and their families; several great nieces and nephews; many members of the MacPherson family. He was predeceased by three brothers, Doug, Herbert "Allie" and Hubert "Hoodoo" (Helen). There will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 15, 2016 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Thelma McLeod officiating. Burial will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to the Annapolis Valley Victorian Order of Nurses or the Valley Regional Hospital.
