Heather Jordan-Vasileski

Heather Joy Jordan-Vasileski – 70, of Kingsport, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Wolfville, she was a daughter of the late John Jordan and Gladys (McIntyre) Jordan. Heather was a homemaker and caregiver of many individuals over the years. In her early years she enjoyed needlepoint, and more recently rug hooking and word seek puzzles. She was a community volunteer with the Kingsport and Grand Pre Women’s Institutes in the executive category. She was past president of the Kingsport Community Association and Grand Pre Women’s Institute. She is survived by her daughter, Janiene Miner (LeRoy Williams), Wilmot Station; son, Craig, Kingsport; a brother, Richard Jordan (Michelle), England; step-granddaughter, Alice Tufts. She was predeceased by her husband, Victor Vasileski.  There will be no visitation. A funeral service followed by a reception will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 26, 2016 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating. No flowers by request. Donations in memory may be made to Ronald McDonald House. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
