Robert John "Bob" Stevenson

Robert John "Bob" Stevenson - 72, of Pereau Road, Kings County, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 at home. Born in Kentville, he was a son of the late Russell Sr. and Agnes (Muise) Stevenson. He was a retired "Jack of all trades" and loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He had a love for animals, especially snakes and enjoyed fishing, racing, wrestling and cooking. He is survived by his companion, Pearl Greaves; sons, Allen, Lincoln, New Brunswick; Bobby, Delhaven and Russell (Kayla), Delhaven; sisters, Betty Robicheau, Kentville; Vivian (Steve) Fenerty, Lower Sackville; Alice (Oliver) Bowen, Scotts Bay; Rachel (Peter) Stevens, Aldershot; Martha James, Winnipeg; Grace (Bruce) Gates, Dartmouth; brothers, Peter (Zelda), Aylesford; Ralph (Debbie), Kentville; Walter (Sherry), Centreville; Albert (Ineze), Sudbury, Ontario; Leo (Donna), Melanson; grandchildren, A.J., Ethan, Keegan, Russell and Avalyn; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Glenda; brothers, Willis and Russell Jr.; infant brothers, John and Alfred and another infant sibling. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2016 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 17, 2016, Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating. Burial will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
