Florence Roberta Beach

Florence Roberta Beach – 95, of New Minas, Kings County, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on November 4, 1920 in Canaan, Kings County, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Viola (Adams) Keddy. She enjoyed being a homemaker and was a member of the White Rock Baptist Church. She is survived by five daughters, Laura (Gary) Farris, White Rock; Yvonne (Bud) Pudsey, St. Catharines, ON; Stella (Laurie) Levy, White Rock; Nancy McInnis, New Minas; Janice (Jim) Dowe, Ashdale, Hants County; a sister, Marie Elliott, Shannex-Blomidon Court, Greenwich; a son-in-law, Charlie Montieth, New Mexico; 10 grandchildren, Mark Farris, Lindsey Farris, Karen Levy-Whitman, Donna Levy-Stevenson, Marcia McInnis, Pamela McInnis Davison, Leslie McInnis-Walker, Darren McInnis, Melinda Dowe and Rebecca Dowe; 13 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Beach; a daughter, Doreen Montieth; two sisters, Edria Chase and Maxine Cochrane; two brothers, Lester and Kenneth; a grandson, Glenn Farris. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2016, in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating. Burial will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Donations in memory may be made to the White Rock Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
