Gwendlyn "Gail" Ruby Coleman

Gwendlyn "Gail" Ruby Coleman - 75, of Steam Mill, Kings County, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Lillian (Corbett) Alders. She had two brothers, Karol (Donna) Aalders, from Lakewood Road, Steam Mill and Peter (Annette) Alders from New Minas. Gail, mostly known as Nan, was married for 60 years to husband, Gale also from Steam Mill. Gail was widely known for being a great mom, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. She was the most loving and caring person and loved to feed and look after everyone. She enjoyed feeding the birds, playing in her flower beds and loved to see all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a great animal lover and loved her little dog, Reba dearly. Gail worked for many years at local farms before working at the Valley Regional Hospital where she retired in the late 90's. Gail leaves behind her husband of 60 years, Gale Patrick Coleman; daughter, Cora lee (Doug) George; sons, Patrick (Faye) Coleman, Andy (Julie) Coleman and Peter (Nadine) Coleman; grandchildren, Amanda Kinsman, Joe Coleman, Melissa Halliday, Ryan Norton, MacKenzie Coleman and Lynden Coleman; great grandchildren, Ayden Halliday, Sierra Halliday, Sadie Kinsman, Emmett Kinsman, Landon Norton, Kayson Norton, Patrick Coleman, and Jack Coleman. She loved her family and will be sadly missed. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
