Victor James Brooks-MacEachern – 23. It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Victor on Saturday, October 22, 2016. He was born on February 4, 1993 in the Grace Maternity Hospital, Halifax. He was predeceased by his biological mother, Tanya Brooks, Millbrook First Nations and his grandfather, Alan Toney, Annapolis Valley First Nations, Cambridge. He is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Terri-Lynn Toney-MacEachern; 13 siblings, Nick (Lindsey), Shanika, Channelle (Blair), Brianna (Daniel), Unique, Hannah, Deborah, Caiden and Kamiera MacEachern, all of Annapolis Valley First Nations, Cambridge; Chelsey, Bryce, Qualin and Shilo Brooks, all of Millbrook; grandmothers, Marilyn Toney, Annapolis Valley First Nations, Cambridge and Joan MacEachern, New Minas; grandfather, Dennis Muise, Kentville, also known as grampie and Nanny Moo; two nieces, Breighlynn MacEachern and Ellie Beaumont; many aunts, uncles and cousins Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2016 until 9:00 a.m. Thursday, October 27, 2016 in the family home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 27, 2016 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. A reception will follow in the Annapolis Valley First Nations Community Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Mi’kmaw Millbrook Family Healing Centre or the Sisters in Spirit Programs of Mi’kmaw Family and Children’s Services of NS. Please make cheques payable to Mi’kmaw Family and Children’s Services of NS. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
