Keith Bethune Smith

Keith Bethune Smith – 85, of Dartmouth, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016 in Admiral Long Term Care Centre, Dartmouth. Born in Waterville, Kings County, he was a son of the late Walter and Annie (Rafuse) Smith. He served with the Canadian Armed Forces and later was employed in labour work throughout the area. He then worked with the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires, from where he retired. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by four sisters, Ada Illsley, Pauline Murphy, Ruth Smith and Christina Rhys; a brother, Ronald. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service, by request. A private burial will take place at a later date in the Berwick Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
