Clarence Frederick Weatherbee

Clarence Frederick Weatherbee – 80, of Wolfville, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Wolfville, he was a son of the late Harold and Agnes (O’Shea) Weatherbee. He had many different occupations, retiring from Acadia University in 1988. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and Bingo, in addition to watching his favorite hockey and baseball teams, the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Davidson); daughter, Tammy Weatherbee (Richard), Wolfville; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Weatherbee, Hantsport; grandchildren, Jonathan, Joey, Nicholas, Crystal and Julie; brother, Ronald (Donna), Wolfville; step-son, Tommy Lessard. He was predeceased by his second wife, Veneda; son, Harold; brother, Harold "Sonny"; sisters, Julia and Rosie; a grandson, Michael Crouse. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2016 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November, 21, 2016, Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating. Burial will take place in the Willow Bank Cemetery, Wolfville. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
