Charlene Marie Kelly

Charlene Marie (Reeves) Kelly – Highway 12, Kentville, got her wings and joined her Heavenly Family on December 19, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 11, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Robert S. Reeves and the late Marie M. (Russell) Reeves, of New Ross. Charlene is survived by her loving daughter, Michelle (Shawn Huntley), New Minas; granddaughters, Tanisha and Britney, both at home; step-grandson, Tyler Huntley; sisters, Judy Parker, Spryfield; Brenda Reeves, East Preston; Jeannie (Warren) Parsons, Halifax; Darlene (Rustin) Broome, New Ross; brother, Stephen Reeves (Rhonda), Halifax; step-sister, Paulette Johnson (Bill); her special "Kid", Angela Shaffer; many nieces and nephews and family members across Canada. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Paulette; three brothers, Gary, Terry and Rickey. Charlene was dearly loved by her family and friends as well as her animals (her cat, birds and squirrels, which she fed daily). She would sit in the window and watch them for hours. Charlene will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Cremation has taken place. There will be no service. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or any local animal shelter. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville, Nova Scotia.
