Kerry Lynn LaFrance

Kerry Lynn LaFrance – 53, of Kentville, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville, she was the daughter of Joyce (Ritchie) Coxhead, Kentville and the late John "Jack" Coxhead. She had been employed for 29 years in the Acadia University Purchasing Department, from where she retired. Kerry loved spending her time with family and friends at the cottage on Aylesford Lake. She was a kind and fun loving person who loved to laugh. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Mikahla LaFrance, Kentville; former husband, Peter LaFrance, Black River; a brother, Brian (Sarah) Coxhead, Fall River; nephews, Luke, Andrew and Justin; niece, Jillian. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her brother, Michael "Mike" Coxhead. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 13, 2017 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Cathy Pharo officiating. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville, Nova Scotia.
