Craig Alexander Miner

Craig Alexander Miner – 52, of Kingsport, Kings County, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville. Born in Wolfville, he was the son of Starr L. (Joyce Rose) Miner, Grand Pré, and the late Heather Joy Jordan-Vasileski. He volunteered with the Jack Sheriff Theatre Company, Wolfville for a number of years. He was a fan of Elvis Presley and Wilf Carter. He enjoyed fundraising for Muscular Dystrophy Canada and spent 11 years being involved in their variety shows. Craig also very much enjoyed reading, writing plays, acting, singing and the Computer CAP Site in Kingsport. In addition to his father, he is survived by a sister, Janiene Miner (LeRoy Williams and his daughter, Alice Tufts), Wilmot Station. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating. No flowers by request. Donations in memory may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Canada. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
