David Webster Ells

David Webster Ells – 91, of Kings Riverside Court, Kentville, formerly of New Minas, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Lower Canard, Kings County, he was a son of the late Herbert and Abbie (Webster) Ells. He served with the Canadian Armed Forces (Air Force) for 23 years and following his retirement, managed Maple Leaf Farm Supplies, Canning. David was also an active member of First Cornwallis Baptist Church, Canard. He is survived by his wife, Eileen (Neaves) Ells; a daughter, Kathy Ells, Halifax; two sons, Don (Joanne), Comox, BC; Carl (Annette), Thompson, MB; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Charles. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2017 in First Cornwallis Baptist Church, Pastor Stephen Wheaton officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Jaw Bone Corner Cemetery, Canard. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to First Cornwallis Baptist Church or the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
