Judith Diane Murphy

Judith Diane Murphy – 74, of Centreville, Kings County, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 2, 2017 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late Garfield and Leah (Ward) Brown. She had been employed with Eastern Protein for 26 years, from where she retired. She was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Kentville. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Leo; a daughter, Kenda Lee (Barry) Dwinnell; two grandchildren, Samuel Murphy Shannon and Olivia Judith Shannon; sisters, Ardythe (Robert) Manson and Gail Brown; brothers, Linden (Linda), Gary (Helen) and Stephen; sisters-in-law, Joan Brown, Vivian Brown, Ruth Corkum, Louise (Jack) Landry, Elizabeth MacLeod, Margaret (Ivan) Kaiser; brothers-in-law, Philip Murphy and Budd (Pat) Murphy; many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by a sister, Elaine Mills; brothers, Eric, Hugh and Marvin; sister-in-law, Carole Murphy; brother-in-law, Lloyd Mills. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 6, 2017 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2017, Father Craig Cameron officiating. Burial will take place in Serenity Gardens Cemetery, Centreville. A reception will follow in the Centreville Community Centre. Donations in memory may be made the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
