Hildred Carneleta (Mossman) (Hiltz) (Hawkesworth) Sanford - 95, of Woodville, Kings County, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Scarsdale, Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of the late William and Enola (Zwicker) Mossman. She was a devoted wife and mother who took great pride in her home. She enjoyed family gatherings, gardening and crafts. She was a member of the Woodville Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Janet (Mark) Cornelius, Dianne (Gary) Dauphinee and Esther (Robert) Henshaw, all of Woodville; step children, Lorna (Lee) Yorke, Truro; Phillip (Laurie) Sanford, Toronto and Glenn (Julie) Hawkesworth, Wolfville; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two step great grandsons; a sister in law, Goldie Mossman, New Germany; many nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  She was predeceased by her first husband, Aubrey Hiltz; her second husband, Cecil Hawkesworth; her third husband, Terrance "Ted" Sanford; two sisters, Meleta Tanner and Phyllis O’Neil; a brother, Carman; two step sons, Angus Hawkesworth and Keith Sanford; a great grandson, Andy. There will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Don Hirtle officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, Kings County. Family flowers only, by request. Donations in memory may be made to the Woodville Baptist Church or the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
