Jessica Lynn Durland

Jessica Lynn Durland - 27, of Kentville, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 at home. Born in Windsor, she was a daughter of Ken and Ruth (Landry) Durland. She was employed with Wendy’s Restaurant, Coldbrook. Jessica was kind hearted and enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially her son, CJ. She was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, CJ Lenihan, at home; a brother, James Durland, Lower Vaughan; an aunt, Evelyn Durland; an uncle, Clare (Blanche) Durland; sister-in-law and best friend, Vanessa Lenihan; her best friend, Marie Brewster, Port Williams, who Jessica thought of as a sister. She will also be missed by her dog, Boo. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017 in St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Hantsport, Reverend Thomas Henderson officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport. Donations in memory may be made to the Epilepsy Association of Nova Scotia or St. Andrew’s Anglican Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
