Carl Ven McGill

Carl Ven McGill - of Waterville, Kings County, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 in Shannex-Blomidon Court, Greenwich, Kings County. Born in Berwick, he was the son of the late Alfred and Nora (Collins) McGill. He had been employed as a truck driver for Thompson’s Transfer for many years, travelling all across Canada and the United States. He enjoyed visiting family and friends and loved to attend suppers throughout the valley. Carl was very social and always found someone he knew wherever he went. He also enjoyed attending auctions. He is survived by his wife, Marsha (Ogilvie) (McCormack); a daughter, Alanna McGill and her mother, Donna, Berwick. There will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Tom Woods officiating. Burial will take place in the Berwick Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or the charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
