Petra van Wilgenburg

Petra Van Wilgenburg – 90, formerly of Kentville, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in The Netherlands, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Hendrika Muis. She was one of 10 children, sisters, Wim, Eefje and Janny; brothers, Piet, Guys "Gus", Anton, Aalt, Henk and Everardus "Everett". She is survived by a daughter, Klazina (Terrance) Doogue, Halifax; two sons, Hendricus Van Wilgenburg, Centreville and Anthony (Marie) Van Wilgenburg, Cambridge; three grandchildren, Bryan, Sarah and Candace; a great grandchild, Andin. She was predeceased by her husband, Aart; two grandsons, Mark and Peter Van Wilgenburg. There will be no visitation by request. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2017 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Doctor Judith Saunders officiating. Burial will take place in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
