Pauline Lu Jean Jordan

Pauline Lu Jean Jordan – 87, of Fundy Villa, Berwick, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on Baseline Road, Harbourville, Kings County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Alice (Foley) Wheaton. Her mother passed away when Pauline was seven years old. She then went to Lawrencetown to live with the Beckwith’s, where she went to school and enjoyed playing the guitar. She later lived in Windsor with her eldest sister, Helen until she moved to Ontario with a friend. Pauline met her husband, Eric in St. Catharines, ON, where Cheryl and Stewart were born. They then moved to Prince Edward Island, where Heath was born. The family moved back to Ontario for several years, then moved to Halifax for several years and then settled in the Annapolis Valley area of Grafton/Somerset in 1977. Pauline and Eric eventually retired in Berwick when they became seniors. She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl (David) Clark, St. Catharines, ON; two sons, Stewart (Monica), Hammonds Plains; Heath (Shana Rogerson), Harbourville; a sister, Ruth (Raymond) Chandler; a brother, Arthur Wheaton; grandchildren, Kathryn Jordan, Patrick Jordan, Laura (Blair) Egerter, Erica Clark, Julia (Matthew) Primeau and Meghan Jordan; great grandchildren, Eloise Jordan and Calder Egerter. She was predeceased by her husband, Eric; two sisters, Helen (Harry) Bosworth and Vera (Stewart) Geddes; six brothers, William Wheaton, Aubrey (Shirley) Wheaton, George (Mildred) Wheaton, Elwood Wheaton, Joseph (Vera) Wheaton and Edward Wheaton. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 9, 2017 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Sarah Scott officiating. Burial will take place in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Schizophrenia Society of Nova Scotia. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Fundy Villa and the Valley Regional Hospital for your kindness, care and compassion. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
