Allan Leslie Ettinger

Allan Leslie Ettinger – 80, of Kentville, formerly of Sheffield Mills, Kings County, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born in Three Mile Plains, he was a son of the late George and Edna (Frank) Ettinger. In his earlier years, he was employed as a truck driver and then owned and operated his own business, Valley Deadstock for a number of years. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Ruth (Hines) Ettinger. He was a loving father to all of his children and their spouses. He is also survived by two sisters, four brothers, many grandchildren, great grandchildren several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the celebration of life service to be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating. A reception will follow at the Meadowview Community Centre, Kentville. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
