Beverley Anne Parsons

IN LOVING MEMORY

BEVERLEY ANNE PARSONS (NEE JANES)

PARSONS, Beverley Anne (Nee Janes) - born on June 11, 1947, Corner Brook NL. She passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 11, 2017. Daughter of the late Clayton and Irene Janes. Bev was very much a "People Person". Being a Christian was very important to Beverley Anne. She was a very positive person and a very forgiving person and was loved by many. Her Motto she shared: Some say: "Behind every good man is a good woman" but she felt that it should include "and behind every good woman is a good man." She was referring to her loving soul mate and husband Dave. She felt support is very important in life. This also supports her reasoning for volunteering all her life.  She volunteered or opened chapters for over 12 organizations. Various Christian churches but mainly Baptist churches, SASA, One Parent Family Association, Hospitals, Cancer Society, Mental Health Associations, initiated a chapter of AL-ANON, Fidelis House, United Commercial Travelers, to name a few. Many of these being in the Kentville/Centreville area. Bev is survived by her loving soul mate, Dave Parsons; daughters, Carol-Anne DeYoung; Jennifer DeYoung; and son, Jeffrey DeYoung (Susan); step daughters, Tina Marsman (Anthony); Nadine Conrad (David); stepson, Dana Parsons; granddaughter, Jessica; three grandsons, Jason, Joshua, Brandon; step granddaughters, Nakiah, Danae; step grandsons, Taylor, Torrell; great granddaughter, Shyla; brothers, Don Gough, Robert "Bob" King, Patrick Bruce.
