George Edward Creemer

George Edward Creemer – 79, of Kentville, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Milton and Bessie (Chase) Creemer. He had been employed with the Department of Highways for 32 years, from where he retired. He enjoyed listening to and playing music and also enjoyed hunting, fishing and going camping. He is survived by his wife, Joan (Byrne) Creemer; a daughter, Sandra (David) Welton, Kentville; three sons, Larry, Ottawa; Dave (Mary Corcoran), Cambridge; Tim (Carla), Huntsville, ON; three step children, Anna, Darrel and Jim, all of Ontario; a sister, Lorraine Burns, Hamilton, ON; a brother, James (Patricia), South Alton; several grandchildren; three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Alan; several brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2017 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held a 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017, Reverend Ivan Norton officiating. Burial will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Donations in memory may be made to the ALS Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville, Nova Scotia.
