Kevin Dail Pudsey

1964-2017

Kevin Dail Pudsey

Kevin Dail Pudsey - born on July 10, 1964 in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 52. Kevin’s life led him to Alberta over 20 years ago and brought with him the love of his life and long time partner, Pamela Dill. Kevin worked at CN Rail for 20 plus years. When he wasn’t working, he greatly enjoyed life at the campground with his vast majority of friends, whom he called his family. Kevin wasn’t a materialistic person, he was more than content with what he already had around him, his home, his trailer, Pam and his family. Kevin was a friend to so many people and touched so many lives in so many different ways with his charismatic smile, his laugh and his pranks for sure! Kevin was the mediator of the family and you could rely on his calm, "not always" logical advice in terms of family crisis. In his own friendly and amicable way he would try to keep everyone happy. That was our beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend. Kevin is survived by his partner, Pamela Dill; mother, Marilyn Millett (Donald Oakes);  sons, Logan Pudsey (Caitlynn) and Breton Pudsey; step-daughter, Tamara Woodman; step-son, John Coyne; grandchildren, Brooklynn, Cali and Nova; step-grandchild, Jordan, all of Alberta; sisters, Wendy (George Gould), Debbie (Mark Knickle), Tina (Jim Melvin), Renita Reid (Terry Chapman); special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Kevin was predeceased by his father, Dail Henry Pudsey; a special uncle, Blair Pudsey; paternal grandparents, Henry and Clara Pudsey; maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Evelyn Creaser. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2017 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating.
