Beverly Ann Jeanette Spencer

Beverly Ann Jeanette Spencer – 77, of Windsor, formerly of Wolfville, passed away Monday, July 3, 2017 at home. Born in Wolfville, she was a daughter of the late Bruce and Louise (Morris) Spencer. She was a charter member of the 1956 graduating class of Wolfville High School and later graduated from the Provincial Normal College, Truro in 1959. She taught school in various locations throughout Nova Scotia including East Glenmont, Debert Station, Greenwich and for several years in Aklavik, NWT, from where she retired due to ill health. Beverly was also a grauate of MACK Business College, Kentville and had attended Acadia University, Wolfville.  Since her retirement, she had been very active in church work as well as being involved in community affairs. She is survived by a sister, Cecily Spencer, Sonora, California; two brothers, John (Delores), Wolfville; James "Sandy", Toronto; several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 24, 2017 in the Willow Bank Cemetery, Wolfville, Reverend Terry Coldwell officiating. Donations in memory may be made to the Hants County branch of the S.P.C.A, P.O. Box 2274, Windsor, Nova Scotia, B0N 2T0 or the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville, Nova Scotia.
