David "Scott" Sibley "Sibs"

David "Scott" Sibley "Sibs" – age 44, of Kentville, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at home. Born in Kentville, he was a son of Harlene (Tupper) Sibley and the late David Sibley. Scott will be missed so very much by his wife, Joann; their children whom he adored, Ashlyn and Mac; his beloved and always by his side, Gord; his brother, Joe (Michelle) Smith; his many friends; his Valley Bulldogs Football family and the many members of his extended family. Thank you to Dr. Mike Wadden, Dr. Julia Merryweather and the wonderful staff of Valley Regional Hospital Oncology for the care, compassion and Kindness that Scott always appreciated. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral, by request. A private family graveside service will take place in the Fox Hill Cemetery, Church Street, Port Williams. At Scott’s request, a celebration of his life in the form of one "helluva party" will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Kings Arms Pub by Lew Murphy's, 390 Main Street, Kentville. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Cancer Patient Navigator Program at Valley Regional Hospital or to a trust fund set up for Scott’s children (with CIBC in Kentville).
