Paul-"Andre" Gagnon

Paul-"Andre" Gagnon – 55, of Coldbrook, Kings County, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017 as the result of a motorcycle accident. Born on January 27, 1962, in Drummondville, Quebec, he was a son of the late Antonio and Larentienne (Champagne) Gagnon. Andre retired from the Canadian Armed Forces with 20 years of service and enjoyed travelling, photography, computers, electronics, books, music and motorcycling. He was a member of Valley Masonic Lodge No. 90, Berwick; Royal Arch Masons, Cornwallis Chapter No. 26, Kentville; and The Widow’s Sons, Masonic Motorcycle Club, where he served as Vice-President and Road Captain of the Fallen Few Annapolis Valley Chapter. He is survived by his wife, Laurie (Gray); two daughters, Caithlin (Rolena) and Victoria; a son, Phillip (Eva); a granddaughter, Thera; six sisters, Francine, Jocelyne, Michelle, Christiane, Marie-Clair and Louisette; three brothers, Jean-Pierre, Francois and Denis; nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A service celebrating Andre’s life, followed by a reception, will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2017 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. A memorial service, followed by a reception, will also be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017 in the Smith’s Cove Baptist Church, Digby County. Donations in memory may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Sick Children or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
