Lorena Mae Rogers

Lorena Mae Rogers - It is with sadness that the family of Lorena "Renie" Rogers of Central Blissville, NB announces her sudden  passing at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Friday, August 25, 2017.  Born in Kentville, NS on August  7, 1938, she was the daughter of  the late Morris Rafuse, born in New Ross, NS and Ada (Schofield) Rafuse, born in Steam Mill, NS and widow of the late Garnet M. Rogers. She enjoyed knitting, bingo and spending quality time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lorena is survived by her daughter, Kim McCaffrey; four grandsons, Joel (Megan) Knorr, Corey (Megan) McCaffrey, Joshua (Rachel) McCaffrey and Jordan (Taylor) McCaffrey; six great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Hannah, Rose, Emilia, Corey and Easton. Along with her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her brothers, Donald, Gordon and John. Interment will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 13, 2017 in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings County, NS, Reverend Thelma McLeod officiating.
