Raymond George Adams

Raymond George Adams – 69, of Kentville, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Pereau, Kings County, he was a son of the late Alexander and Mildred (Hill) Adams. In the 1970’s he worked as a stone mason and later worked as a butcher with Ells Brothers and had also been employed on various farms throughout the area. He enjoyed fishing and playing the guitar. He is survived by a daughter, Ruby Ann Adams (Steven Hines), Kentville; five sisters, Carol (Allan) Antoine, Pereau; Brenda Craig, Liverpool; Yvonne (Phillip) Sarty, Kentville; Teresa Vogler (Wayne Wile), Windsor; Gladis Adams, New Minas; a brother, Carl (Sharon), Cambridge; three grandchildren, Joann, Brandon and Kaitlyn; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Darlene Davidson. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017 in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Donations in memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
