Paulette Martha Slauenwhite

Paulette Martha Slauenwhite – 66, of Aylesford, Kings County, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Everett Slauenwhite and Marjorie (Sarty) Sanford. She enjoyed being a homemaker, a stay at home mom, spending time with her grandchildren and her cat, Budd.  She is survived by sons, Stephen (Debbie) Lenihan, Wilmot and Jeffrey (Cassandra) Lenihan, Aylesford; sisters, Marion (Allie) Greencorn, Kentville; Peggy (Douglas) Huntley, Berwick; Elizabeth (Murray) Lenihan, Kentville; Edith Tupper (Marty Elliott), Greenwich; Pamela Burns (Gary Kerr), New Minas; Blanche Sawler, New Minas; brother, David Slauenwhite, Kentville; six grandchildren, Katana, Nikita, Gage, Dakota, Kaylee and Jaxson; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by an infant sister, Beatrice, an infant brother, William and a brother, Robert. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2018 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Leon Langille officiating. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Katrina with palliative care, the Annapolis Valley Victorian Order of Nurses, Dr. Mercer and the doctors, nurses and staff of Valley Regional Hospital – Emergency and Chemotherapy Department for their care, kindness and compassion. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
